From The Fantasy

This game is a hack of From The Mud, influenced by Cairn, Knave, and Mythic Bastionland. It is a medieval fantasy game about adventurers seeking quests and battling enemies for various reasons—but mostly because it is the right thing to do. A classic fantasy.

From the Fantasy assumes you know the basics of tabletop RPGs.

Safety in Play

 I love dark fantasy games, but sometimes a more traditional tone of Good vs. Evil is just what we need to warm our hearts. Just because this game is designed for a classic fantasy feel doesn’t mean it has to be shallow or avoid difficult themes—after all, you’ll be facing evil. That’s why it’s recommended to use safety tools to ensure everyone is on the same page.

This game is, above all, a tribute to From The Mud and the brilliance I see in it.
